Join us on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at The First Congregational Church in Old Lyme for a presentation by Megan O'Neill titled, “A Different Look at Rural African Education” A reception begins at 5:30 p.m., with the presentation starting at 6:00 p.m. 

An optional dinner will take place at Old Lyme Country Club following the presentation for $40. 

Imagine Scholar is an educational non-profit organization based in the Nkomazi region of South Africa. The organization's innovative and sustainable approach to education is creating meaningful impact in the local community and re-imagining education systems for rural, underserved communities. Through working with high-achieving, low-income secondary school students in the development of leadership, critical thinking, and community-mindedness, we aim to build Africa's next generation of change-makers.
